Itinerary highlights

Depart from Manaus at 8:00am via a 20-minute car ride to Ceasa river port. From there, take a 30-minute speedboat ride to the village ‘Careiro da Varzea,’ passing the mesmerizing meeting point of the Negro and Solimões Rivers (Encontro das Aguas). Witness this spectacular natural phenomenon where the two rivers run alongside each other without mixing. Along the way, you might also encounter curious river dolphins.

After a visit to the fruit market, board a bus or van for a 40-minute journey on the Manaus-Porto Velho highway (BR319) to reach the Araça River. Here, embark on a boat ride through numerous lakes, wildlife-rich creeks, and the habitat of giant Amazon water lilies (Vitoria Regia) with their enormous floating leaves. As you pass by native villages and the floating houses of Caboclo’s village.
