Since your departure from Manaus it is possible to observe natural and cultural wonders of the region. Itinerary highlights

Depart from Manaus at 8:00am via a 20-minute car ride to Ceasa river port. From there, take a 30-minute speedboat ride to the village ‘Careiro da Varzea,’ passing the mesmerizing meeting point of the Negro and Solimões Rivers (Encontro das Aguas). Witness this spectacular natural phenomenon where the two rivers run alongside each other without mixing. Along the way, you might also encounter curious river dolphins.

After a visit to the fruit market, board a bus or van for a 40-minute journey on the Manaus-Porto Velho highway (BR319) to reach the Araça River. Here, embark on a boat ride through numerous lakes, wildlife-rich creeks, and the habitat of giant Amazon water lilies (Vitoria Regia) with their enormous floating leaves. As you pass by native villages and the floating houses of Caboclo’s village.

  • The journey to Amazon Premium Lodge takes approximately 50 minutes by boat, with an expected arrival around 12:00 p.m., followed by lunch.
  • After lunch, there is a motorized canoe trip that will allow you to be introduced to the area.
  • Throughout the duration of this trip you will experience the pristine and varied landscapes of the region, with the opportunity to observe and enjoy the great diversity of animals found in the area.
  • It is common to see squirrel monkeys, sloths, iguanas, spiders and a wide variety of birds, including the beautiful white egrets that delicately wade amongst the floating grass islands.

Dinner will be served in the restaurant of the Amazon Premium Lodge at 07:30 p.m., a delicious amazonian.

At 5:30 a.m., we depart at sunrise for a captivating bird-watching excursion, providing a splendid opportunity to witness the magnificent Amazon and its awakening wildlife. We’ll return in time for breakfast.

  • At 8:30 a.m., put on your hiking boots and prepare for an exhilarating jungle trek. Our experienced jungle guides will introduce you to jungle survival techniques and medicinal plants, offering a unique, hands-on learning experience about Amazon flora and biodiversity.
  • After lunch around 3:00 p.m., we’ll engage in piranha fishing, with a playful note that dinner depends on your piranha-catching skills (just joking!).
  • At 8:00 p.m., we embark on an exciting nocturnal expedition to spot animals and alligators. This adventure has everyone eagerly scanning the banks and grasses for these elusive creatures.

At 8:00 a.m., we will visit a Caboclo’s house to gain insights into their customs and culture. We will explore rubber and cassava plantations and more.

  • This is a wonderful opportunity to capture photographs of local customs and observe how they gather fruits in the jungle, including Brazil nuts, herbs, vegetables, and spices.
  • Witness how local people prepare their food using these ingredients, and you’ll even have the chance to taste some of these exotic products, such as fruits, vegetables, spices, and herbs.
  • Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m.
  • In the afternoon, there will be more activities involving canoeing, swimming, and further exploration of this beautiful region.
  • Dinner is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

At 8:00 a.m., enjoy breakfast before embarking on a jungle trek to acquaint yourself with some of our medicinal plants. Our guide will provide information about Amazonian plants and their traditional uses for various ailments, knowledge passed down through generations by native Indian tribes. During this trek, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Witness the rubber gum tree (Seringueira)
  • Observe the process of natural rubber production, which involves extracting latex from the tree trunk without feeling it.
  • Return to the lodge for lunch at 12:00 p.m.

In the afternoon and evening, you’ll have free time to choose from our optional activities, such as canoeing, fishing, spearfishing, night animal watching, or simply enjoying the wildlife from your charming veranda.

Early breakfast will be served, followed by a departure for a river excursion in the lakes near the lodge to observe the Amazonian fauna with possibilities for:

  • Observing dolphins in their habitat
  • Contemplating the Amazon rainforest
  • Visiting a riverside school in a local community
  • An opportunity to learn about the lives of the local residents

Return to the lodge for lunch. On this day, there is the option to overnight at the forest camp to learn survival techniques in the jungle through practices taught by the guide specialized in Amazon rainforest experiences.

Wake up early to the sounds of birds in the forest and take a morning walk to bid farewell to the forest – that’s today’s recommendation. We suggest taking a dip in the pool and capturing the beautiful memories acquired during your days of leisure and immersion in the forest. Breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m.

The departure to Manaus can be in the morning or after lunch, depending on the itinerary. Depending on the schedule, there is the possibility of an additional morning excursion. The transfer can be directly to the airport or your hotel in Manaus.
